Pacha Express depart from Amed in the east of Bali and offer the shortest possible crossing to the Gili Islands and Lombok.  They have been operating for a few years and have built a reputation as being a reliable and safe operator. NOTE: this company is only suitable if you are staying in East or North Bali.

 

The boat departs from Amed at 09:00.  Hotel pickups in the local area will usually be between 08:00 and 08:30.  In good conditions the trip by fast boat to Gili Trawangan takes 45 - 60 minutes, the boat then stops at Gili Air and Lombok(Bangsal). It is only a 5 minute trip between each of the Gilis and Lombok. Departure times are:

Amed: 09:00 

Gili Trawangan: 10:15
Gili Air: 10:45
Lombok: 11:00

Arrival back in Amed is about 12:00 midday. Ticket prices include free hotel transfers in Bali from Tulamben, Amed and Tirtagangga.  If you are staying further away than this a transfer is possible but there will be an additional charge payable on the day you travel.

 

Transfer info can be filled in during the booking process but if you are staying in Ubud or South west Bali then it is cheaper and quicker to take a boat departing from Padang Bai with a different carrier as hotel transfers are then included.
