Nusa Penida to Lombok Travel Tips

• Bangsal or Senggigi: Choose Bangsal if you are staying in North Lombok. Choose Senggigi if you are staying on the west coast of Lombok.
  Lombok International Airport is around 1 h30 from Bangsal and 1h from Senggigi.
   
• Check your departure harbour on Nusa Penida: SemayaOne departs from two different harbours: Banjar Nyuh and Buyuk. Wijaya Perkasa departs from Buyuk Harbour. Marina Fast Ferry and Eka Jaya use Banjar Nyuh.
  The harbours are close but not the same, and arriving at the wrong one is a common mistake.
   
• Travel in the morning if you get seasick: The sea tends to be calmer in the morning before the wind picks up.
  If you are prone to seasickness, the morning departures are the better option on the Nusa Penida to Lombok route.
   
• Book in advance: Seats on the morning Eka Jaya departure sell out quickly in peak season. Booking through Gilitickets secures your ticket and avoids a scramble at the harbour.
