Sanur to Lombok Travel Tips

  • Choosing the right arrival port before you book avoids a long, unnecessary taxi ride once you land in Lombok.
Bangsal: North Lombok, right next to the ferry pier for the Gili Islands. The right choice if you are continuing to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air or Gili Meno, or staying in north Lombok.
Senggigi: West coast resort town, convenient if you are staying in the Senggigi area or central west Lombok.

  • Port taxes are not included in the ticket price:  Both operators charge port taxes separately at the harbour, payable in cash on the day. Check the Sanur and Lombok port taxes.

  • Add a hotel transfer when booking Semaya One: Semaya One offers shared shuttle and private car transfers to Sanur Harbour from most main tourist areas in Bali. If you are not staying near Sanur, this is worth adding at the time of booking to avoid arranging your own taxi to the port.

  • Consider Padang Bai if you are in Ubud or east Bali: Eka Jaya Fast Ferry departs from Padang Bai with shorter crossing times and is one of the most reliable operators on the Bali to Lombok route. If your accommodation is closer to Padang Bai than Sanur, it is the better departure point.
