Fast Ferry from Bali to Lombok and the Gilis

Eka Jaya operate daily departures from Padang Bai to Lombok (Bangsal), via the Gili islands. The crossing from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan only takes 1hr 30mins.

Eka Jaya also operate daily departures from the Gilis and Bangsal to Padang Bai. The crossing from Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai takes 2h30 or 3 hours, depending if the boat stops in Gili Meno en-route. The crossing from Bangsal to Padang Bai takes 1h30.

PLEASE NOTE FOR GILI MENO ONLY:  There is an extra 35,000 IDR (€3) p.p. charge levied by the locals to transfer between the shore and the Eka Jaya mooring.

Their fleet of turbojet fast ferries makes them one of the fastest ways to get to Lombok and the Gilis from Bali. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: This fast ferry service is not the same as the slow public ferry from Bali to Lombok. The public ferries also depart from Padang Bai harbour but take much longer to reach Lombok, between 5 and 6 hours of sailing time. 

The public slow ferry is most suited to freight and sails to and from Lembar in relatively remote south Lombok.
