Wijaya Tramena: Route

The Wijaya Tramena operates a loop route between Padang Bai and Bangsal, stopping at all three Gili Islands in both directions. Two full round trips run each day. The outbound route calls at Gili Trawangan first, followed by Gili Meno, Gili Air and Bangsal. Return services pick up passengers at each island and bring them back to Padang Bai.

Outbound: Padang Bai → Gili Trawangan → Gili Meno → Gili Air → Bangsal

Return: Bangsal → Gili Air → Gili Meno → Gili Trawangan → Padang Bai

Note for Gili Meno: The boat will stop at Gili Trawangan; clients will proceed to Gili Meno by small speedboat.
Note for Gili Air: The boat will stop a few meters away from the harbour; clients will proceed to Gili Air by small speedboat.

Onboard Facilities & Seating

The Wijaya Tramena offers the basics for a comfortable crossing. Seating is not assigned, so arriving at the harbour early gives you the best pick.

  • AC cabin: Enclosed indoor seating with air conditioning. A good option if you want to stay cool, avoid direct sun, or escape sea spray on choppier days.

  • Sun deck: Open-air seating on the upper deck with views across the water towards the Gili Islands and Lombok. Worth it on a clear day, though exposed to wind and spray at speed.

  • Restrooms: Toilet facilities are available on board throughout the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions: Wijaya Tramena

How do I get from the Wijaya Tramena to Gili Air?

The Wijaya Tramena anchors a short distance from Gili Air harbour rather than docking at the pier. Passengers are transferred from the boat to the island by small speedboat. This is normal for this route and takes just a few minutes. Keep your bags with you and be ready to move when the speedboat arrives alongside.

Does the Wijaya Tramena dock directly at Gili Meno?

No. The Wijaya Tramena does not dock at Gili Meno directly. The boat stops at Gili Trawangan, and passengers travelling to Gili Meno are transferred onward by small speedboat. This is a standard arrangement on this route and is included in your journey.

Is there air conditioning on the Wijaya Tramena?

Yes. The Wijaya Tramena has an air-conditioned indoor cabin. If you prefer open air, the sun deck on the upper level is available for the full crossing. On longer stretches of open water, the cabin is worth it for avoiding direct sun and sea spray.

Can I cancel or amend my Wijaya Tramena ticket?

Yes. Date changes are free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, subject to availability. For cancellations: more than 24 hours before departure receives a full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee; less than 24 hours before departure receives a 50% refund; no-shows receive no refund.
